I suppose it is human nature to want someone to blame

but sometimes circumstances coincide and no-one really caused the problem. Ben Knapper’s been there a while though, so ultimately “no hard feelings but we’re going to try something different” would be justifiable. He has presided over a pretty torrid period and took over a yo-yo team, which is now an “established championship side”.

I remember I used to say I’d be perfectly happy to be a yo-yo side when we were mid-table every season, but inevitably you get greedy and I’m desperate for us to stay up.
