As you know, I'm an Ipswich fan and have always been clear about that. If you want to tell me to f**k off, mention Farage-gate, or issues related to administration 25 years ago then that's your right - it's your board.
I'm not here to crow (genuinely), I take no pleasure in seeing what is going on at Norwich and would love to have EA Derbies back, hopefully in the Prem. From an outsider's pov where you are now seems very reminiscent of the mid-2010s at Ipswich. I hope it's not the start of a similar trajectory, no set of fans deserve to endure the kind of years-long managed decline we had to put up with.
It seems to me that getting rid of Clement would be premature (just) and Knapper can't do that anyway, having brought in multiple managers already. So Knapper has to go so that if and when Clement's time is up that decision can be made for pure footballing reasons.
I can't work out why on earth the same manager and squad that did so well in the latter half of last season aren't clicking this time round, and it seems you lot are racking your brains too. But you could win the next game, you could go on a run (this team can, we know that), and you only need to get to 8th place now.
Anyway, I'm a shameless nerd and produce these graphs for all teams in the Prem and Championship. They show cumulative points for the last 5 seasons, alongside a projection of where you would end up if the current ppg continued. This is now:

But this is how things look after just 3 wins:

I guess the point is it's early doors still and things can change very quickly.
