All of it adds up though.

When things are going terribly on the pitch, fans automatically look for leadership and reassurance off it.

When there appears to be none, the mood darkens and any tolerance/patience wears thinner much quicker. That adds to the pressure on the players and things just get worse.

All of it matters and all of it contributes. It isn't as basic as "Do it for Michael".
