As if today couldn’t get any worse, I just came back from seeing the film Digger.

Big fan of the director (Amores Perros, 21 Grams, Babel, Biutiful, Birdman, The Revenant) but the trailer looked absolute dog s**t. I only went to see it so that I could be justified in saying how s**t it was because I hate it when people talk down about films they haven’t actually seen.

Anyway, Digger is incredible. Absolutely, audaciously, wonderfully brilliant. Go and see it.
