Tomorrow it's Sale vs Glasgow or Norwich vs Pompey. For 10 years its always been a dead given than I'd watch Norwich. I've chosen Sale, without much question.
I'm a Norwich fan. We've spent years convincing ourselves this year will be different and years convincing ourselves that football is a sport.
I'm not just falling out of love with Norwich. In fact, that's a minor point.
Nobody was surprised about the Man City verdict, but yet it's kinda taken the fun away from it all. Its exhausting... I just want to watch a fair match.
Then VARm simulation, corporate ownership, ticket prices, kick off times for TV, billionaire dick measuring contests and an endless stream of w**kers asking who is 'harder' because of their chants.
I never wanted to win the champions league, what I enjoy is football with feeling and I just dont feel it anymore.
But I still love Norwich. I just dont feel excited by it anymore, at all.
Rugby has its problems too, but it's a far cry from football... northern clubs have many northern players and a million pounds is a lot of money.
At the end of the day, it's a contest and football is just who has the biggest bank balance.
Cue the flounce comments. Do your best.
