pool who only had one arm. I think he played for the Southwell Arms, Hall Road, (rough pub) but it might have been the pigeon fanciers pub The Kings Arms, on Mile Cross Road, but he had a little wooden chock that he would set down and use as a bridge. He was a right good player. Not as good as me. But pretty handy, if you pardon the pun.
