People on ordinary money being able to afford to buy houses. Council houses. Norwich City competing fairly in the First Division.
Not so great. The Bay City Rollers or Edinburgh’s shame as I might put it. Sweet. They were seriously crap.
The best sex of my life. I vaguely remember it. Jimi Hendrix. Pink Floyd. Strikers with braziers. Talking of strikers, Phil Boyer and Ted McDougall.
Martin Peters. Justin Fashanu. Brian Clough. Don Revie, not so much.
So, good times and some bad times. Like most eras really.
