Spence and James out injured. Dropped Burn and Stones. Hall in and Livramento back.

Skelly in at midfield but that’s where he’s playing now. Palmer back, Scott added. Henderson out.

Palmer back, Nguhoma added, Madueke dropped.

Calvert-Lewin in, Toney and Watkins out.

All makes sense to me. I think only questions will be those wanting Wharton over Skelly or Scott, and of course the question of Phil Foden.

Strikers though. DCL is the in form English striker at the moment so I think it’s a no brainer but we really are even shorter in cover for Kane than ever before. I see a few young talents around - the spurs kid last night and the Villa kid but they’re all very young so let’s hope they burst onto the scene pretty sharpish or we will be one injury short of no strikers before long.
