Good afternoon. Philippe Clement will be with us shortly to preview the Canaries' trip to Sheffield United tomorrow afternoon.
--------------------------------------------------------------
PC on the summer window - "A lot of things, yes. Of course, you always have certain targets and names; it is always impossible to get every target you want. I think we have a better squad now than last season, with all due respect to those players last season."
PC - "About the squad, there is now competition for places, so if somebody is out, you can make changes. It is also good for rotation."
PC on Liam Gibbs - "Liam wanted to leave in January. I convinced him to stay. But he is now at a point in his career where he wants more minutes, and we cannot guarantee him that. Hopefully, he will come back stronger."
PC on Amankwah Forson - "It's for him to play and to keep his value, so if he is not playing here, then his value will drop."
PC on Mundle-Smith and Myles - "It's conscious to keep them around. Elliot has had problems with injuries, and we can control that better by keeping him here. I think Errol can also take more steps with the club, and then we can evaluate again in January."
PC on Hugh Jackman investment - "If it was League One, that story would not be on. It's important to have people like him, who can give another boost to the club. He has a huge following across the world, so you can get more fans across the world. I've heard from the owners that he is a big fan of Norwich."
PC on getting results - "Performance and results have clearly not been balanced. Somebody who likes stats sent me something this week, and with his list, we should be third in the league. That is football, and why a lot of people love football. If you are on the other side like we have been in the past weeks, it is frustrating."
PC - "I'm gutted and frustrated the day after a game, but you need to look at what happened past that."
PC on opposition approach - "I totally do not agree with you on the low block; that was not Stoke's approach. It was not a case where they gave us the ball and didn't press us. Of course, we need to integrate new players for Darlin (Yongwa); it was his first game and he needs to get the connections with his team-mates."
PC on rotation - "Some players are not ready to play two games in three days, as they just joined the team. Ben Chrisene has been at his best since I've been here, but if I play him in every game in the next few weeks, then he will get injured. Darlin would not be in a good place either if he's sat on the bench for weeks either."
PC fitness update - "Positives. No problems with the squad from Stoke. Paris Maghoma has been training for the past two days, so he will be in the selection. Jovon Makama will be back in the selection in the weeks to come."
PC on Sheffield United - "I like Chris; he's a really good manager. I enjoy my time with him after the game also. They are direct and aggressive; they have two good strikers and wingers. He makes his team work hard, so it will be a tough fight."
PC on away end - "Yeah, because they travel far and give everything. The team gave everything in Stoke; they showed a good mentality. We just didn't put the ball over the line. Of course, want to give the fans what they travel for; we had that lots of times last season, so we want that back."
