Yes of course, for Ben, the silly thing is that he will now get zero ad revenue from those

who have had to do this to stop the ridiculous escalation of invasive ads to the point of making the site unusable, whereas when they were kept at the top of the page I (and I suppose many of you) didn't feel the need to block them, and may even have clicked them occasionally which would have given him some ad revenue for views and clicks.
