Is this fair on Delia?

So Delia save the club did she?

I always thought it was Geoffrey Watling! Ive become amazed at how many people on various Canary boards attack anyone who asks questions about her leadership always stating the fact that she (a cook who presents cooking prgrammes and writes cook books)stopped this club from becoming extinct!

Lets look at some facts and ask some questions:
1. Since relegation there has been a profit on transfers of 3.25 million pounds. Added to parachute payments this makes 11.25 million pounds. Where is this money?
2. Since Delia took charge this club has amassed a further 12 million pounds of debt!

We are told by Neil Doncaster that West brom have no debt yet they are a club very similar to ours (ok they had 2 years in the premiership but also spent big and paid high wages whilst there) yet they are debt free. Why is our debt constantly rising and where is the transfer / parachute surplus?

Im afraid given the rising debts and the way the transfer / parachute money is going along with capacity crowds I fear that unless the club achieve promotion this season we will find ourselves as the next Leeds, Leicester, Ipswich and call in the receivers in an effort to rid us of our debts. This would mean that we then have our hands tied on transfers for a number of years and would have points deductions.

Delia we all love you as a fan, but that to me is what you are! We are all greatful for your cash input / loans over the years. With respect I would rather see you serving lunch for me than running my football club with other directors who have no real experience of sports related business.

I took this off the official board
