It seems perfectly reasonable for Luciana Berger to not want to meet him

But also that he objectively seems to have done a lot to repent for his crimes and could be a useful person to advise against radicalisation given his own experience.

To think that people can never be redeemed seems extreme and that a specified period of time (I think his crimes would be spent under DBS) has to elapse before this can happen seems odd.
