well i was after a i meter length of box section mild steel, rang a metal supplier

who said he could order it in for next week. he said but try this company and gave me a number. bloke there said same thing but try east anglian steel and tool stockist up behind the old amercian golf place on the guardian road industrial estate. rung them, come on up we will sort you out chap, they dug me out a section and cut it to the exact length i needed and charged me a fiver. happy days.

there's a lot going on up the guardian road industrial estate btw. they should organise coach trips, there's all sorts of retail behind the scenes. hand car wash, vehicle workshop, tyre fitters, middle eastern food outlet, tool hire gaff, exotic hydroponic plant emporium some fast food outlets, a big f**koff gym, a place that buys and sells good used domestic appliances cheap.


be warned though, if you park up and don't enter your registration electronically on a little ipad thing in one of the stores then you win a £100 parking ticket.
