presumably at some point a keeper will be genuinely injured, one of his teammates will have to subsequently leave the pitch for a minute, and while he's off the other team will score. At which point pundits and Proper Football Men will all moan that it's a ridiculous law.

Actually they'll probably moan that it's a ridiculous law the even before a team scores because of it.

Still think it's a good thing though.
