What I can't understand about the whole thing is

Ronaldo had no baring on the result, he had no baring on the referees decision to send Rooney off, and against England, he is at fault for something everything professional would have done in that situation, including England players. If Calvaho had stamped on Rooneys bollocks, Terry Rio Beckham would have been shouting in the refs face

The real villain here, is Rooney, he did it, he was about to get sent off, he got sent off, he's a stupid prick. His reputation is in tact even though he's been a horrible little s**t since the day he set out onto the pitch in an Everton shirt.

He's the innocent party here

On the subject of Henry. In the main football has done the talking with him for most of his career, he's been a very fast player that hasn't needed to cheat. He has his moments to get a decision, he loves abusing the freekick situation when a keeper is setting the wall, and it is instrumental now in referees telling players to wait for the whistle. That was just him using the rules to his advantage

Now though, he is older, he isn't as fast as he was (probably is, but after a long season probably doesn't have the energy levels for the endurance of the world cup).

He was a very bad loser in the champions league final, and instead of getting over it by getting on with football, he's chosen to let it bother him

Against Spain, he exacted his revenge on Puyol by foulling him and trying to con the referee into sending Puyol off. Both incidents have marred the world cup for me. If you could add up the amount of things he's got away with from a referee, you'd just think for one minute he'd just accept that one game something wouldn't go his way. Instead he felt the need to exact his revenge. TV replays made him look totally dispickle and a real disgrace to the game

France scored from the resulting free kick and are through

Although it was a penalty, he felt the need to go one better last night, and throw himself around, the exact opposite of what he said in the champions league final. But he did say in the champions league final that "maybe I should learn to dive"

It looks like he's made his decision to me. Which is a shame cos it could marr what has been a brilliant career for him

I am a huge believer in you reap what you sow though, and I always think football wins in the end. Some might feel like that about Ronaldo. I think Henry's time could come in the final. I would like it to, cos I'd like to think he could reconsider his new idiology and get back on with playing the game
