What is scary is how that's accelerated.
Getting the 4/5 players you'd probably need to step up to the Prem after promotion now looks likely to set you back £150M unless you can be exceptionally lucky/astute with signings.
Even then, you need to be robust enough to give them time to settle.
The point being that that kind of bridging money only really comes from people looking to make a speculative buck and hope to sell a club on at a profit or from those who want to move money around. It's not coming (simply) from ticket/shirt sales.
