You want a bad World Cup format?

ICC have rammed through changes to the One Day cricket World Cup;
a 'Super Series' round robin that eliminates one of the three small nations
two groups of six, with 30 matches to eliminate just five teams
a 'Super 7' round robin [21matches] to eliminate another three teams
Semi Finals then Final.

Mikey and his ilk have won. It is now ALL about those watching on TV. More games, less genuine jeopardy, fewer chances for Big teams to get knocked out early.
