Yes the bloke kicked him (not very hard) on the shin. Yes, because of that, it was probably a penalty. But the force of the kick was not enough to cause Henry to fall over.
Earlier in the competition something almost identical happened to Rooney and he stayed on his feet and tried to score. is this an example of english players being "too honest" or was Henry an example of some players "cheating"?
That all depends on how you want to see the game played and probably whether you play professionally or as an amateur.
Simple question which I'm not sure is even covered in the rules:
Is it a penalty if there's "contact" or is it only a penalty if the contact impedes the player? In my opinion, the contact did not impede Henry, he simply decided to fall over having felt the contact.
