Anyone hear ever showered in the dark?

I did about 7 years ago.
The old wc in the pub was out of order and I stuck it out as long as pissible.

Tried cycling home and ended up babbing myself.
Was pretty messy.
Got home and didn't turn any lights on, couldn't face any of it.
Put the washing machine on and showered in the dark.

Was like nothing happened and I never saw the horror.
