I've been commuting in and out of work on a bike for nearly 25 years. This kind of increasingly hostile attitude towards people just trying to get around (and posing much less threat to anyone else than cars do) seems to have really grown recently. And you increasingly feel on the receiving end of it when you're on a bike.

Is it something that's being fuelled by clickbait and propaganda on social media? Out of interest, are you on Facebook Captain Bligh? It seems to have really increased over the past year or two. It's odd.
