For all his numerous (and obvious) shortcomings, I'd rather have McClaren.

Scolari's Portugal team, like all the other teams he has ever managed, have been systematically cynical - in fact, I'd go so far to say they've brought the game into disrepute during this tournament. There's no need for it, either - there's no shortfall of quality in that team (except up front).

I suspect that Scolari orders his team to dive, antagonise the opposition and intimidate the referee at every opportunity - his Gremio team in Brazil were notorious for it - and I suspect that he deals with anyone who refuses to do it very, very harshly.

So I'd rather have McClaren personally. Less "ambitious" perhaps, but also infinitely less unpleasant.
