Have to say we stepped up big time. France are the best side in the tournament but there

really isn't a tougher match/scenario than the one we faced last night. The atmosphere, the altitude, the players appealing for penalties every single time the ball went in our box.

And I think had we not had the red card we would have won that 3-1 or 4-1 as we were starting to open them up at the start of the second half.

I didn't like it when we decided to play without anyone up front for a while after the subs but he rectified that eventually when he brought on Rodgers to finally give us some sort of outlet. We also defended well which is a big plus given how shaky our defending has been.
