This is the reason why I have no

interest in the World Cup despite being a lifelong football fan.
This World Cup has become the Trump (and his great mate Infantino) World Cup, where he is using it for his own personal glorification.
The previous competition in Qatar was just a cynical sport washing exercise despite clear human rights issues in that country.
Sounds very similar to what is happening in the premier league.
Good riddance to both tainted competitions.
