But in the situation of Kane, Hughton actually f**ked up.

The reason Kane was recalled was because he was Subbed after 45mins against Luton (i think) in the cup). Kane was actually playing very well that's game but Hughton felt the fan pressure and brought Holt on for the second half. It didn't work because Luton still won 1-0.

So Hughton was actually instrumental in not nurturing the potential Kane had.

Spurs saw that he didn't even get 90 minutes in an FA cup game against non league Luton and pulled the loan.
