I hate them, I know sometime they work and they make the keeper commit to a direction,

giving the penalty taker time to choose, but I still can’t get my head around the concept of playing a slower ball and allowing more time for the keeper to keep!
Also, and penalty taker who has a decent shot saved, fair enough, both keeper and taker did their jobs, it’s not a miss in my eyes. But a taker who actually misses the goal? Fucking t**t. That’s a shot they’ve practised since they could kick a ball. It’s all very well saying it’s the pressure of the moment, well you wouldn’t accept a surgeon buggering up 1 in 10 operations or an airline pilot crashing every 20 landings.
Pick a spot, run like the wind, toe punt the c**t through the net.
