whereas it seems to me that these events (and others in between, not to mention a good deal of ill disciplined, brainless cricket) are all of piece - and that we're in a mess, brought about in large measure by pretty wretched leadership; the end of this Test has been thoroughly self indulgent - someone ought to have stood up to Stokes, but nobody did.
