Brook was the one for me. I can see the argument to disrupt NZ, and it did have

an impact, one day fields etc.
Trouble was Bethell had a brain fart, and then Brook proved he can't be captain.
Regardless of whether Stokes wanted them to play that way or not, the guy about to be made captain should have had the sense to settle in and build a partnership.
