Nigel

Hi all.

I come here with a plea.

Two weeks ago, my best friend Nigel died suddenly, aged 60. He went into hospital for a routine operation on his heart and never came out again, suffering an unexpected cardiac arrest in the recovery ward post-operation. I’ve known Nigel for 25 years and we were more like brothers than friends. He was the kindest, gentlest soul, who loved making films and composing music for students and low-budget filmmakers free of charge. Nigel, who was autistic, leaves behind his wife and his two adult children, both also autistic and with different needs. As you can imagine, their world has been turned upside down.

We are trying to raise money for Nigel’s funeral. If anyone has a pound or two to support, I’d be very grateful.
