when the sun goes down i drop the loft hatch and it brings it down a couple of degrees

mainly because i live in an old 1850s victorian property and the roofspace is full of gaps. got to pop it up first thing in the morning though.

also i leave the downstairs windows at the back open a tad and the upstairs ones a lot and the chimney effect funnels heat out of the house.

of course that's if you live in an old house that is. or more specifically my house. but yeah curtains/blinds facing the sun closed and windows shut.
