Starmer got a lot wrong and proved to be too inexperienced at politics

which is a shame because he seems like a genuinely good guy.

His attempt to court the Reform vote was infuriating and McSweeney was the architect of a terrible approach that should have been ditched.

But he didn't deserve the abuse. People are so weird.
