Tricky one

He really did let a lot go. People were bashing into each other, knocking each other over, grappling and wrestling. He let a lot more go than many refs. But by and large he was consistent about it. He didn’t obviously let one side get away with more/less.

Broadly, it led to a game that flowed well, and I think I liked it. But there were times where I felt players were getting away with fouls that were quite tactical, and maybe he needed to make them cut some of it out.
