true - that's what would REALLY worry me

I thought the most alarming thing was the way even our more illustrious players seemed to often struggle with basic technical ability and looked plain uncomfortable on the ball. That of course would be an issue for English football that goes down to grassroots and training of kids. A whole cultural shift.
