it was a great day, in the morning we did some pond dipping in the garden and snagged us some newts including a crested one and all manner of water beasties like water-boatmen and pond skimmers. then at the end of it i fed him his favourite meal, beans on tust and then i delivered him back home safe and tired to his mum.

the lovely little bishy-b eboats are relatively cheap at £25 an hour which is about the right timespan for a 3 yo and a couple of quid for duckfood.
