if it's all about only playing well when you *have* to - which I more or less agree with - then you can only judge us on the Portugal game. We did enough in all the others.

So it comes down to what you make of that.

We were pretty crap before the sending-off - which I thought was harsh - and then not bad afterwards.

I don't disagree that we didn't really do anything to deserve to still be there. But by the logic above, that's a judgement based on 60 minutes of football, before the ref intervened....
