We never played as well as we could

that is the biggest crime of all.

As pointed out, Trinidad & Tobago were pretty rubbish but at least their players played to the best of their ability and can go hime with their heads held high.

Our players should come home hanging their heads in shame for letting the country down but, surrounded by fawning media and yes men, all I have heard is a raft of pathetic excuses
