Norway 4-1 Iraq: scoreline doesn't tell the full story. Iraq had a number of chances and it could have been a much closer game but they gave away a goal to make it 2-1 and just kept conceding. Haaland should have had a hat trick.

Argentina 3-0 Algeria. Messi scored a hat trick but should have been sent off. Big asterisk next to this one. Dodgy as hell keeper for Algeria, who also scored a wonderful goal disallowed by boring VAR.

Austria 3-1. Decent match this one. Wonderful opening goal out of absolutely nothing. Nice counter attack for Jordan's equaliser, their first ever at a World Cup, then Austria turned up the heat, scoring two goals and a disallowed one too. Great stuff. They're my dark horses. 🐴
