Observations:
England had some real warriors in the team in those days. Pearce, Adams, Shearer all roaring the national anthem because it meant something.
Both teams had great kits - Umbro mid 80s to late 90s were the best football kits bar none.
If Scotland had 2 decent strikers in that team (McCoist was 34 and past his best) they could have been a decent side.
Finally how is this 30 years ago, remember this day very clearly.
Oh well.
