The aesthetics of Italia '90 were fantastic - New Order and Pavarotti, great stadia,

lovely kits, really good TV graphics for the line-ups and goals, etc.

The football? Absolute dogs**t, so awful that they brought in the backpass rule to make sure it never happened again.
