They have been circling the plughole (I believe this is the technical term) for a while, since they decided Moyes needed to go. Quite a lot of overpriced signings who haven’t stepped up, over reliance on Bowen, poor atmosphere in their stadium, fan discontent, a lot going wrong basically.
