Those arguments are not very persuasive...

Maybe why they have never gained much traction.

The problem is almost all people are not as altruistic as some would have us believe.

Will it f**k us....almost certainly yes....can we stop it....probably not....in the same way you can't stop a scorpion stinging.... It's in our nature.
