“Yes, Luton had a massive points deduction that cost them a place in the football league but they’re a smaller club with less income, so our situation is worse.”

That’s like saying a poor man losing his house is not as bad as me losing out on a high-paid promotion after I lied in the interview because my house is currently bigger than theirs is and I had the opportunity to be richer than they are.
