As fans, we want the club to be successful, but I think we also have to be careful not to tie the owners hands at every turn.
I'm not saying they should be given free reign to do whatever they want at the expense of the average paying fan, but more than ever it appears that generating additional match day revenue is what will give us the advantage when it comes to getting out of this division.
We can't on the one hand say we want Knapper to spend loads of money on transfers, while at the same time saying we don't want to leave Carrow Road, and we don't want Carrow Road renamed, and we don't want betting sponsors, and we don't want away fans moved to make hospitality areas, and we dont want the Gunn Club moved to improve hospitality, and we don't want a fan park etc.
If we tie their hands at every turn, the only lever they are left with to generate money is to keep selling our best players every summer.
