when i was approached by the parking stasi goober he made no mention that he'd

taken 5 photos of my car and one of the parking regs posted on every other lampost in small print about 7 foot up so i didn't think anything of it. then the parking charge notice dropped on the mat. there's a site on social media which plenty of people have been stung and coughed up the £60 because of the threat of a £120 fine.

the b&q manager was v helpful and i quoted her name in my appeal to lend it some weight from the company that actually contracts parking control to these thieves. but legally they are allowed to do it. no use me having a pop at the parking atttendant or taking on the parking company in the legality of their terms and conditions, they would win every time.

best option for me was to submit a strong reasoned factual appeal. you are right though, it is scandalous.
