There's a lot to be said for screaming from the sideline, and years ago that's what I

thought he saw his role as, but over the last couple of years it has been clear that he has changed that thinking.

It's a shame because quite honestly, as somebody who cannot stand their policies or behaviour, having a few shouty extremists challenging the status quo is not necessarily a bad thing for keeping the others on their toes.
