On your friend called Rocio, it is indeed a very common name in Andalusia. Coincidentally one of the main hospitals is named after the Virgin Rocio, so maybe her mum working there.

I'm working in London these days, but still have a small Spanish group of friends in Norwich. Some reason us Spanish have always been attracted to the city.
