Couple of thoughts from me

So. When they play so narrow and compact in defence, we not only need to use the wings but need to get to crosses in from the touchline.

Ahmed never wants to use his left. So he tries to push them to the touchline and cut back in on his right. But that’s what he always does, and he take so long they bring another defender on his right foot and he plays it back either to the half way line or inside where it is still congested.

Kenny the same with his left foot. I would have switched them.

Secondly with a tall keeper and defenders, to play that crossing game it’s a tough ask for the likes of Kvistgaarden despite his jumping ability. Needed mo from the start (actually needed Makama). Understand Mo was not fit for 90 but Kvistgaarden may have been more effective with a bit of space if it wasn’t 2-0 at the half.

So in retrospect I’d have started with Schwartau left, or Kenny if Oscar wasn’t fit enough and Ahmed right, and Toure up front, with Kenny in midfield for field if Schwartau was on the wing.

Another thing is in that setup Kvistgaarden played it wrong and kept dropping into the 10 position which just created more congestion playing into their hands. Toure is quite good at making runs to take defenders away. Kvist brings them to the ball.

But having said all that, I would also maybe have gone with the same team given how well they did against Millwall.
