Anybody he plays for would be that dependent on him

Just because he’s English and speaks like a bloke with a market stall, we sometimes find it hard to realise that he’s genuinely world class. He’s the best striker in the world of his generation and comfortably top 10 since the 70s.

But we’re English. We love to deny talent. Our grandchildren will appreciate just how good he was.
