I'm not saying its right or wrong...cos you'll get some people

who will miss no matter what but I think the valid point is that 2 equal players taking a pen, the one that is mentally fresher will score more often than a fatigued player.

We relied on 2 takers that haven't had the most confidence plus 3 other, carragher must have been brought on cos he was the one willing to take a pen.
