a lot of football decisions will always be a matter of opinion, and even after VAR has had a look people will never agree.

See a lot of pens given for very minimal contact that in no way either impeded the player and definitely wouldn't have caused him, or her, to fall over. Footballers are cheats, basically, and almost impossible to referee.
