Uruguay’s anthem is generally considered the longest national anthem in the world

world by duration and musical length. The full version has about 105 bars and takes roughly 4½ to 6 minutes to perform. However, by lyrics alone, Greece’s anthem is technically longer (it has 150+ verses).

Uruguay has more cows than people, so technically, steaks outnumber citizens. It also pioneered legal weed before anywhere else. Despite its small size, Uruguay won the first ever FIFA World Cup in 1930 and celebrated by building a massive stadium in just nine months. It has a town called “25 de Agosto”—named after a date, not a person.
